DJ KWOAD is een Nederlandse DJ van Duitse afkomst. Hij begon zijn DJ-carrière op 13-jarige leeftijd als DJ voor schoolfeesten op de middelbare school. Daarna verschoof zijn muzieksoort meer en meer naar de gothicscene. In deze scene was hij radio-DJ voor Radio 42.5 en Antronic Radio. Daarnaast heeft hij voor deze 2 radiostations alsmede voor Noize Magazine veel bands geïnterviewd.
Vanaf 2012 besloot hij om zich meer te gaan richten op het DJ'en op feesten. En met succes, want sindsdien heeft hij al op tientallen feesten gedraaid. Ondertussen is hij een bekende DJ in de Nederlandse Gothic Scene geworden, en richt hij zich inmiddels ook op Duitsland en Belgiè.
Op dit moment is hij de organisator en resident DJ van Raven (Gothicfeest in Arnhem), Genetika (Cyberpunkfeest in Eindhoven) en Outbreak (Cybergothicfeest in Breda) en is hij resident DJ van Access Industrial (Cybergothicfeest in Arnhem). Ook is hij lid van de The New Industrial Generation
Zijn muziekstijlen zijn Gothic Industrial, EBM, Dark Electro en Synthpop. DJ KWOAD's submuziekstijlen zijn Industrial-Hardcore, Powernoise, Rhythmic Noise, Darkcore en Darkwave.
